Robert Bennerup passed away on April 4, 1967 but his memory lives on through his plant discoveries and rich family heritage. Robert's wife took over day to day operations at the nursery after Robert's passing until 1969 when their son, Pierre Bennerup, purchased the nursery. From that point on, the nursery has continued to grow immensely. The nursery is currently comprised of 222 total acres with 52 Greenhouses and is led by Sunny Border CEO, Pierre Bennerup and President, Marc Laviana. We look forward to continuing our rich history as a leading grower and innovator in the green industry.
